The West is Burning

The Way Forward In The Era Of Megafire

The West is Burning follows a broad cast of characters diverse in geography but united by a common mission: adapting our communities to become more resilient to the recent trend of increasingly severe wildfires. The film explores the historical fire suppression and land management policy that led to the current crisis, and the urgent need to act now to generate positive change in our forests, watersheds, and communities, both rural and urban.
